General Inquires

How much does the conference cost?

The breakdown of the conference costs can be found on the home page of the Stronger Together website or when you click on the "Register" button. For the November 3rd online conference day, tickets are $10 if you plan to only attend this component of the conference. If you register for either the in-person event for library trustees on the 9th or the in-person Stronger Together conference day on the 10th, the online day will be included in your ticket. In-person event tickets cost $100 to non-partner organizations and $85 to member organizations.

Can I register, even if I am not a member of NLLS, PRLS, PLS, YRL or ALTA?

Absolutely! We welcome any participant who is passionate about libraries. We just ask that you select the non-member ticket option when you register.

When does conference registration close?

Conference registration will close October 27th, 2023.

Will refunds be provided?

Please contact [email protected] to inquire about a refund of conference fees by Friday, October 27, 2023. Refunds will be approved on a case-by-case basis and will only be provided for amounts more than $10. Refunds will not approved for the virtual conference on November 3 as the content will be recorded and available on-demand after the conference. Refunds cannot be provided after October 27, due to final numbers required by the venue. Registration can be transferred if needed.

All approved refunds will be processed after November 10, 2023 through electronic funds transfer (EFT). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Stronger Together planning committee at [email protected].

What if I have a question or need help?

Please email the planning team: [email protected]

How do I access my account once I have registered?

At the top of the page, or nested within the three dots there should be an option to login, click this. You will then be asked for your email address and there will be a button that says "Send Login Link", click this. An email will be sent to you with the sign in link that will bring you to your account. Once you are logged in you can access your sessions, ticket(s), and invoice.

I am trying to register multiple people for the conference but it won't let me.

If you are registering multiple people from your organization for the conference you will have to register each person under a separate email. This is so that each person can choose their talks and answer their registration questions. If you are having difficulties registering multiple people try the following tips:

- If you have registered one person ensure that you log out of the account prior to registering someone new.

- Clear the cache in your browser if you are using the same workstation to register multiple people.

- Use different browsers or register by using incognito mode.

How do I register?

For detailed instructions on how to register please check out the document linked here. Check out the flow chart below to help determine the right ticket type for you.

Virtual Conference Questions

Can multiple people from the same organization attend?

Absolutely! The only thing we ask is that each person registers individually. This helps us keep our registration numbers accurate and allows us to send any follow-up information to each registrant.

Will the scheduler automatically factor in what time zone I am in when displaying the schedule?

Yes! Once you register and access the schedule, it will automatically show you times reflective of the time zone you are in.

Is closed captioning available?

Yes! We have enabled automatic transcription for our live sessions. Closed captioning will also be available for all of the recorded sessions after they are posted on Zoom.

What if I have any other accessibility needs?

Please email the planning team: [email protected]

I am trying to get into a session, and the website tells me I need a "pass". What does this mean?

Not to worry! This means you hadn't originally registered for this session. Just like at in-person conferences, we sometimes like to change our minds about what we are attending at the last minute - so if you are asked to get a pass, simply follow the links to register for the session, and you are in! if you run into difficulties accessing a talk, please email [email protected] for more support.

How do I access my sessions?

Links to each of your sessions were emailed to you upon registration, and will be emailed again 10 minutes prior to each session beginning. A really quick and easy way to see your whole schedule is to log into the conference website and then navigate to "my schedule" (it may be hidden behind 3 dots on the right of your screen).  This should display your whole schedule, and also provide you with links to join the sessions at the start time.  All sessions start on the conference website, however, when you click on the link to begin the session, you will be taken to Zoom, which we are using to broadcast each session. You do not need to have a Zoom account or download any special software to access the session, however, you will be asked to enter a name and email address prior to entering the session.
