Morning Session

Ian McCormack will be joining ALTA to run a morning session to provide guidance, advice, expertise and resources that empower our trustees to practice good governance with confidence. As a strong library supporter and previous board member, Ian seeks to support trustees through a broad range of experience and insight.

Afternoon Sessions

Our afternoon sessions will create opportunities for trustees to discuss important topics to them while networking and learning from fellow trustees across the province. A panel of experts in the library field will be talking about questions that library boards have been facing over the past few years. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask additional questions to the panelists. Topics may include: governance, policy development, human resource and personnel challenges, relationship building, and more!
